Graylingwell mental/war hospital

So here it goes my first "blog"...

After my tour of the construction site of what was the Graylingwell mental/war hospital for my institution project for my University unit. I come home and tell my mum about where they let me go into and photograph i mentioned talking about ghosts with the construction workers and my mum starts tells be about a 11 1/2 yr old girl who was abducted, violated and murdered and her body found in Graylingwell ... Well while shopping in Tesco we found two books about Graylingwell so we quickly read through them and find a few paragraphs about the murder (scary) Thinking nothing of it just some interesting reading for my project put them in the trolly saying "Imagine if its an anniversary for it today"... Well if finding that wasn't weird enough ... actually sitting down to read the text later on in the evening I find out that her body was found on the 28th of Feb 1924 but she actually abducted before hand 3/4days in 1924  ... Which would be today (24 February 2012, R.I.P Vera Hoad) ! After doing a little more Internet research we start finding more information about this tragic event. My mum and I Read that her body was found in one of the near by fields of the hospital by a deaf and dumb patient. Her violated body was frozen solid but only covered by a light sheet of snow. Her killer was never found there are roomers that it was the "The Gorilla Killer" - Earle Leonard Nelson or  Jack the Strangler ( police related him to Jack the Ripper) but neither of these two men where ever convicted of her unfair murder. Some time later we calculated that Vera Hoad (the little girl) would be 100years old this year! .... Now is this just a coincidence or does the little girl who's life ended so tragically want to be remembered once again!
